Originally intended for sale in Germany, NextStepBabyMonitors was able to secure a supply of this system for our customers. This is the second generation Euro System with many great features added.
One of these additions is a headphone output on the monitor which is hard to come by with today's digital systems. Ear-bud style headphones are also included.
An A/V output and cable are provided allowing you to connect the monitor to a TV or DVR. The enlarged 2.4" LCD screen provides a bright and clear image. Adjust brightness and saturation to customize your viewing. A folding "kick-stand" on the back of the monitor allows it to sit upright on your nightstand or other flat surface.
Two more great features include Two-Way Talk Back which allows you to speak to the baby from the monitor unit. The monitor has a microphone that when you press and hold the "Talk Button" sends audio to the camera where it comes through a small built in speaker. Digital Zoom is other feature which allows you to zoom the image on the monitor screen.
Built-in Night Vision allows monitoring even in total darkness. The camera employs built-in IR illuminators which shine light up to 8 ft that's invisible to human eyes.
The camera is not a remote controlled pan-n-tilt model, you manually position the camera lens by hand. Both camera and monitor are powered by the included AC adapters. Or for shorter periods both units can operate on the included internal rechargeable battery packs. Battery life is approx 4 hours.
