Step up to a Digital 2.4 GHz system with the MobiCam DXR Video Baby Monitor! With a newly enlarged 3.5" LCD screen, the MobiCam is better than ever.
The DXR is the only system on the market to offer digital recording and playback. Insert your own SD card (not included) and the MobiCam DXR can record up to 32 hours of video on it. The DXR accepts from 2 to 16 GB SD cards.
Manually start recording with the record button on the monitor, or set the VOX feature and recording will start when sound is detected by the camera. Browse and playback recorded videos using the easy to navigate on screen menus.
A two-way talk-back feature has also been added allowing you to speak to your baby. Or use the system as an intercom and have a 2-way conversation with those around the camera, very cool!
The monitor has a USB output and included USB cable for connecting to a computer. MobiCam does not supply the USB drivers with the system. You must visit MobiCam's Website and register your product, then you can download the drivers for free. NextStep does not provide support for the computer or Internet features of the MobiCam DXR. Support for these features can be obtained directly from Mobi.

One of the coolest new features is the Split Screen Multi-Camera view! The DXR can have up to a 4 cameras at once, and you can view all of them at once using the DXR's split-screen mode!
You can also switch manually between your multiple cameras or select Auto-Scan to have the monitor automatically flip between cameras. Extra Cameras are now available!
An "Audio Only" feature is also offered, simply press a button on the monitor turn off the LCD screen but to keep the audio on. This is a must at night time! Just hit the button again to turn the screen back on.
Or use the VOX (voice activation) feature mentioned earlier. When VOX is enabled it turns off the screen. Then when audio is picked up by the camera above a preset level (like a baby crying) the monitor's screen is reactivated to alert you.
MobiCam's built-in Night Vision allows monitoring even in total darkness. The camera employs 7 built-in IR illuminators which shine light up to 10 ft that's invisible to human eyes. The camera has a light sensor and auto switches into and out of night vision mode. Also included is the versatile camera mount that can either be used on any flat surface or mounted to the wall for a professional style camera installation. The pivoting ball joint allows you to aim and lock the camera into almost any angle.
