As long as the camera is in range the signal will always be clear and static free. You also get the benefit of full digital security. Your camera is linked specifically to your monitor so no one else can view your cameras unlike with older analog systems.
The main attraction is of course the ability to pan and tilt the camera lens remotely using the joystick on the monitor. A handy zoom function also lets you digitally zoom to take a better look at something within the field of view.
Up to a total of four cameras can be used with this system. Add Extra Cameras any time by following a simple link-up process on the monitor. Channel switching between cameras is done manually on the monitor (there is no auto scan through multiple cameras). The large 2.5" color delivers clear and sharp images.
You also get the ability to turn off the video screen and use the system as an audio only monitor. This is a feature customers really enjoy especially at night.
A graphic audio meter is featured on the monitor which allows you to see the level of your baby's sounds. It also features a folding stand and belt clip. A low battery indicator and brightness adjustment are a few additional extras.
The innovative camera design allows for wall mounting or placement on any flat surface. The camera lens can be tilted and swiveled, and a microphone is built in. 8 infrared illuminators provide Night Vision, and a light sensor automatically turns on and off the night vision mode as needed.
Power for the monitor is supplied by the included AC Adapter or rechargeable 6v battery pack (also included). The camera is powered by the supplied AC adapter only. Reception range is 350 ft with clear line of site, or approx 150 ft obstructed.
