Return Policy - 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed

Our 30 day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee means if you encounter any defects, or decide the product is not for you, simply return it for an exchange or refund. The 30 day guarantee is valid for 30 days after the date of purchase, not the date the goods were received.

After 30 days have passed from the date of sale, the purchase is final and no returns or exchanges will be allowed. If you are past 30 days and have a defective issue your system may be covered by a manufacturer warranty, please see warranty info at the bottom of this page. The following are important notes regarding the 30 day return/exchange policy:
  • Original & Return Shipping Is Non-Refundable

  • All Returns For Refunds Are Subject To The 12% Restocking Fee
    (Exchanges & Verified Defective Systems Excluded)

  • All Returns Must Have Original Box & Packaging Materials

  • A Return Authorization Number (RA) Is Required
If you are encountering issues with a product purchased from us please Contact Us first. The majority of the time the issue is a simple one that can be easily corrected. Also see our Knowledge Base which has answers to many common issues.

Interference: Each system that can receive harmful interference from common household devices (phones, computer networks, etc) is clearly labeled as such on our site, and detailed information on this subject is provided. It is the responsibility of the buyer to insure the system purchased will not be interfered with by other wireless devices in the environment in which the system will be operated. The 12% restocking fee applies to all returns (excluding exchanges) including those returned for poor performance due to interference, as these systems are not defective.

All Returns Are Tested: The vast majority of returned systems that were claimed to be defective by customers were not. The issue was either caused by interference and/or user error. Systems tested by our techs and found to be defective will have the restocking fee waived. However, systems in fully operational condition will be assessed the restocking fee as outlined in our return policy.

Summer Infant Products: If you have any issues with a Summer Infant product, including damaged or defective items, you must contact Summer Infant customer support directly at (800) 268-6237 or CustomerService@SummerInfant.com. They will resolve your issue and provide a prompt exchange if necessary. NextStepBabyMonitors is unable to exchange Summer Infant products as apart of our agreement with Summer Infant, Inc.

To Return Or Exchange An Item: Within 30 days of the sale Contact Us and you will be issued a Return Authorization (RA) number. The RA number should be displayed on the box of your return shipment. Only returns with an RA number will be processed, and the return must be received within 10 days after the RMA number is issued.

Our Right To Refuse Exchange: NextStepBabyMonitors reserves the right to refuse a request for another exchange after a customer has used a minimum of two different systems and is requesting an exchange to a third. In such a case NextStep may elect to provide the customer with a full refund (shipping fees excluded) and waive the restocking fee, instead of providing another exchange. If you return two non-defective systems, the chances are too great you will return a third, so we reserve this right.



Warranties

The majority of our products come with extended warranties (See below). Models with warranties will have warranty information in the user manual or on a warranty card. Procedures and requirements for sending in your product under warranty vary with the manufacturer. It is common for a $15-20 service fee to be required with a warranty exchange to cover shipping and processing. Please contact the manufacturers directly with any warranty questions.
