An On Screen Display (OSD) menu allows you to graphically navigate and change settings on screen. When activated, the exclusive Motion Detection System alerts you to motion sensed by the camera. Or when using multiple cameras, automatically switches to the camera detecting motion.
New feature! This latest version of the 5600 now features a slim Remote Control unit for the monitor. This allows you to change channels, adjust the volume, and do most of the functions available on the monitor itself.
Manually change between cameras, or use the scan feature to automatically flip between cameras at a time interval of your choosing. The monitor runs on AC power, so it does need to be plugged in at all times. This along with its large screen make it ideal for situations where the screen is primarily installed and used in one location.
The heavy-duty camera is Weather Proof and can be used indoors or out. Camera power is supplied by the AC adapter. Three channels allow you to add two more Additional Cameras (two styles to choose from), so you can monitor multiple locations at once.
With an RCA audio/video input this is more than just a baby monitor! Plug in a DVD player to watch a movie, or cable tuner to watch TV, or even a video game console. An RCA audio/video output is also provided to connect to a larger television or VCR. A headphone jack is also provided.
The camera lens can also be tilted and swiveled, and a microphone is built in. 8 infrared illuminators provide Night Vision. Reception range is 400 ft with clear line of site, or approx 100 ft obstructed.
