The display's wide screen 16:9 format is also commonly found on today's high definition TVs. This monitor is packed with advanced features! You can even switch the video image between 4:3 or 16:9 (wide screen) formats. A 90 degree image rotate allows the screen to be used vertically or horizontally.
The thin LCD screen is only 1" deep and can be removed from the included base for custom installations. The base is fully adjustable allowing you to aim the screen in almost any direction and lock it into place. An On Screen Display (OSD) menu allows you to graphically navigate and change settings. You can also use the handy wireless remote to access all the monitor settings from a distance.
With four channels, you can add up to three more Additional Cameras. Manually switch between cameras, or use the loop function to automatically rotate through them. Note, the scan mode does cycle through all 4 channels regardless if cameras are present.
With full RCA audio and video inputs this is more than just a baby monitor! Plug in a DVD player to watch a movie, or even a video game console. The monitor even has stereo sound. Do note there are no audio/video outputs on the monitor, just inputs.
Monitor power is provided by AC power, so it does need to be plugged in at all times. This along with its large screen make it ideal for situations where the monitor is used in one location.
The DaisyCam is a breath of fresh air compared to standard camera designs. The lens is mounted in the flower on top of a flex stem allowing you to move and pose the camera in any direction.
Eight night nights are also on the flower which are turned on and off with just a touch to the flex stem. The base of the DaisyCam is a padded spring loaded clip, so it can be clipped onto a railing for example. The camera can also be sat on any flat surface.
The system's reception range is 400 ft with clear line of site, or approx 100 ft obstructed. The DaisyCam is intended for indoors use only and is powered by the supplied AC adapter. 8 built-in infrared illuminators on the camera provide Night Vision.
