The GosCam G900 by 4Ucam is a second generation 900 MHz system that operates interference free in places with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and cordless phones. A host of new features has also been added that can't be found on any other 900 MHz system. Now available in Blue, or Pink!
Two channels allows up to two cameras to be used at once (see Extra Camera). One of the most important new features is the auto channel rotate. Switch between cameras manually or have the monitor scan each one automatically at 5 second intervals. This is a feature not found on any other 900 MHz system.
Another popular feature on the G900 is the "Audio-Only" mode. This is handy at night when you don't need the LCD screen on but still want to use the system as an audio-only monitor. Simply hit the "sleep button" and the screen is disabled while the audio feature continues to operate.
Alarm triggers for motion or sound can be set. The camera lens is mounted as a ball joint and can be aimed for better viewing.
With a large 2.4" LCD screen the G900 provides a high resolution image. Built-in Night Vision allows monitoring even in total darkness. The camera employs built-in IR illuminators which shine light up to 10 ft that's invisible to human eyes. The camera automatically switches into and out of night vision mode using a light sensor to detect darkness.
With an integrated microphone, full audio as well as video is transmitted back to the monitor. An output plug and supplied RCA cable allows you to connect to a TV, VCR, or computer as needed.
Both camera and monitor are powered by the included AC adapters. Or for shorter periods both units can operate on four AA batteries. Battery life is approx 4-5 hours.
