This is a wired system that uses a standard ethernet cord to connect between the camera and your router. So there is no handheld monitor for viewing like with most baby monitors. Use one of the suppied cords, or use a longer one of your own to extend the distance the camera can be placed from your router.
Being wired eliminates all chances of static interference common in most wireless systems, and also simplifies setup. Requirements to use the system include a high speed internet connection (cable or DSL modem) and a router.
The IP Cam is almost identical to the one with our very popular GosCam Pan-n-Tilt System. People love the ability to remotley pan and tilt the camera. The IP Cam has this feature plus the monitoring software adds the ability to zoom and record. You can also set event triggers to record preset times or for when motion is detected. The software can even email you alerts.

The camera is fully self contained so once configured it's ready to go and no software needs to be installed on the computer viewing the feed. Simply access your camera by typing in its unique IP address into your browser. Then login using your secure password info. Up to 4 users can access the camera at a time.
Built-in servo motors in the camera rotate the lens vertically and horizontally at the push of a button on the Monitoring Software. The camera lens can be rotated 270 degrees horizontally (3/4 of a full circle). Vertically the camera can be aimed over a range of 120 degrees.
The Network IP Camera is intended for indoors use only and is powered by the supplied AC adapter. 8 built-in infrared illuminators on the camera provide Night Vision. The camera has an RCA output giving you the ability to also directly connect to a TV or VCR using the supplied cable.
And if you need even more features, the IP cam also has a built in SD memory card slot, allowing you to record onto a memory card if you want. Works with SD cards up to 1 GB (Card not included).
