Summer Infant brings its unique refinements to a big 7" video baby monitor system.
Right off the bat, this system uses 900 MHz which unlike other big screen systems, allows it to operate interference free in areas where wi-fi or 2.4 GHz cordless phones are in use.
A huge 7" LCD screen makes it easy to keep an eye on your little one. The screen can be swiveled 360 degrees and tilted 180 degrees so the screen and be aimed in any direction.
The monitor base features a removable mounting plate that lets you mount the monitor to the underside of a cabinet or to the wall.
This lets you mount the monitor under a kitchen cabinet or similar. Or just sit the monitor on any flat surface, the options are endless.
The very popular "audio only" feature is also found on this system. By pressing a button on the top of the monitor the screen is turned off allowing you to listen to the audio only. Press again to turn the screen back on, it's perfect for night time. Audio meter lights allow you to visually see the intensity of audio being picked up by the camera.
Power for the monitor is supplied by the AC adapter. A built in handle on the back of the monitor makes it easy to move from one place to another safely. There is no video output on the monitor, so it cannot be connected to a VCR or TV.
Reception range is 350 ft with clear line of site, or approx 100 ft obstructed. The camera is intended for indoors use only and is powered by the supplied AC adapter. 8 built-in infrared illuminators on the camera provide Night Vision.

Extra cameras are not yet offered for this system by Summer Infant, but we will make them available as soon as they do. The system is designed with the ability to use a second camera.
